OMG. I think that I have a new favorite poet! As I was reading this book, I flagged like 100,000,000 poems. I loved that way the Francisco handled many pressing topics--both personal and political--all at once. Although some of the poetry is heart-wrenching and sad, there are many hopeful poems as well. If you love Francisco's works as much as I do, you can also find him reading some of his poetry online!
